Where The Magic Happens
“Ensure it feels like it’s made by humans, for humans.”
James' flair and design inspiration started from an early age of watching his father (who was also a designer) working on a drawing board, ensuring the artwork was kept square, literally cutting and pasting the printed sheets of typesetting onto thick card to produce artwork (pre-digital era).
James has gained valuable experience over the years, 2005 fresh out of Art college his first role was with a local design agency where he was hired as a Junior Art Director, working on accounts like Norwich Union (Aviva) and Duracell. His main focus was print materials such as: posters, flyers, DM, brochure and press ad creative.
Since then he has worked for several design, digital and advertising agencies, corporate digital garages, internal roles and many years of freelancing having his own day-to-day clients. His career has evolved over time starting from a print designer evolving into a digital first thinker.
Currently he spends his time working with global clients thinking of ways to digitally transform their business with digital platforms, new innovation, translating strategy into action and working across the product life-cycle to create and deliver new experiences in partnership with clients and their customers.
